Classification – dry rose varietal wine from Nemea.
Varietal Composition - Syrah 60%, Grenache Rouge 40%.
Vineyard – from upland Korinthia region, Nemea region, altitude 800 m, Cithaeron Mountain slopes, altitude 450 m.
Vinification - grapes initially stored in a cooling chamber, followed by pre fermentation cold maceration for 6-8 hours in stainless-steel tanks and traditional rose vinification at a controlled temperature.
Eye - salmon-colored with gorgeous garnet highlights.
Nose - fruity with hints of pomegranate, cherry, watermelon and passion fruit, that lead you to identify it with fruits of spring and summer.
Palate - Pleasant, soft, right at the mid-point between white and red, just as a rose wine should be! Savor the crispness of the white and the full mouth feel of the red, without missing any of the vibrant flavors typical of a great rose.
Pairing Suggestions - accompanies all summer fare, from large fish and octopus braised in wine to vegetable risotto, shrimp or lobster spaghetti, braised rabbit, poultry, beef or lamb casserole, stuffed vegetables and moussaka, also ideal as an aperitif.
Best served at 8-12 °C.
