Vineyard - plot of Dalamari, altitude 400 m, soil with moderate potassium content, deficient in organic matter and high iron content.
Vinification - classical red, matured in oak barrels for 12 months.
Eye - deep red color.
Nose - typical aromas of Xinomavro - tomato, olive, strawberry, cherry and plum, while the presence of oak adds subtle hints of vanilla, chocolate and spices such as cinnamon.
Palate - full body, high acidity and rich with overbearing but not aggressive tannins in a balanced combination with the special touches of the barrel and a long, impressive finish.
Pairing Suggestions – rich, fatty dishes with red sauces, as well as fine stews such as game dishes, strong cheeses.
Best served at 16-18 °C.
