Classification – dry red varietal wine from Greece.

Varietal Composition - Xinomavro 80%, Merlot 20%.

Vineyard - mountainous at altitude 450 m.

Vinification - traditional red, maturation in oak barrels for 12 months.

Eye - purple color.

Nose – rich aromas of red and black fruits such as juicy cherry, blackcurrant and notes of sour cherry, with a background of subtle sweet spices and fresh tomato.

Palate - balanced, with medium body, mild acidity and soft tannins, spicy aftertaste.

Pairing Suggestions – charcuterie, juicy burgers, grilled meats, pasta and a variety of cheeses.

Best served at 16-18 °C.
