Classification – dry red varietal wine from Greece.
Varietal Composition - Limniona 35%, Syrah 35%, Grenache Rouge 30%.
Vineyard - at “Prosilia”, Rapsani, Mount Olympus, organic, non-irrigated, altitude 480-530 m.
Vinification - classic red, from super-ripe grapes that are dehydrated naturally on the vines, matured in French and American oak barrels for 30 months. It is produced only in exceptional vintages.
Eye - impenetrable purple color.
Nose - with luxurious oak and a core of blueberries, liquorice and ink.
Palate - full-throttle, dense wine with ripe yet firm tannins. Very concentrated, complex and rich wine with very long aftertaste.
Pairing Suggestions - except red meat can accompany a fine cigar.
Best served after 2 hours of decanting at 16-18 °C in high volume glasses.
