Classification – dry red wine, PGI Central Greece.
Varietal Composition – Cabernet Sauvignon 50%, Mavroudi 25%, Syrah 25%.
Vineyard - selected vineyards in Arma, Thiva and Atalanti Valley.
Vinification - each variety is being fermented separately with the technique of the classic red vinification method. It matures for 6 months in small French oak barriques.
Eye - deep ruby color.
Nose - mostly primary aromas. Red fruits such red cherry, redcurrant and red plum are most dominant. However, notes of some black fruits and spices are evident.
Palate - the black and red fruits are appearing on the palate as well. Clove and cinnamon balance the fruits. Medium tannins and acidity, light body. The finish is very pleasant.
Pairing Suggestions - beef with tomato sauce, roasted pork, pork steak, cured meat, yellow cheese, apéritif.
Best served at 13-16 °C.
